Let Sleeping Children Lie

Image

the people in both Obama videos dedicated their time and passion…
it was truth that lead them to the studio…
it was the idea…

and what really upsets me…
is this ad that the Hillary people put out against Obama…
it’s the opposite of what the Obama movement is…
it’s lies…
and once again a fear-driven campaign…

this girl in the commercial is an actress…
and yes the people in the Obama videos are actors, actresses and singers…
but they aren’t acting…
they are stating truth…

maybe i’m over reacting…
maybe i’m taking it too personal…

i just find this funny…

so i ask this…

“who do you want answering phones in the time of crisis”…??…

maybe if Obama is president there won’t be a crisis phone call…
maybe it’s the old operation that is the cause of “crisis”…

so maybe it’s time for “change”…

Make the same mistake? said: Obama is a joke? I don't know how informed you are but Obama has already passed bills more so than Hilary or McCain! And how is a man who can't even carry on a politcal debate without being childish and rude the only logical pick?!?! there is nothing logical about that man! but I guess it would make sense seeing as to how immature the name you chose to go by is, really grow up! Really look into obama and all that he has done before assuming that he is simply full of it! Besides are we really going to make the same mistake twice? Yes voting bush in was a great idea! And I'm sorry to report but that is what McCain will do to this country simply keep us down because none of the other canidates really care not like Obama. Yes the terrorist hit the world trade center and it was awful and we got them back by bombing them sending our men to thier country to die and now after all these years we are still there! It's time to let go and move on. I hear Obama and maybe he wont accomplish everything he say but you know what he is the only one i believe will truly try! Obama my stepdad introduced in you in the little town of Lebanon, New Hampshire, the last time I saw him that excited and honered was when my little sister was born! And we are so proud to say that our family supports you (even my 7 year old sister who is very up to date on things) and I must thank you for giving my mother who came to this country for hopes of a better life the hope she lost 8 years ago and for reminding her why we are in this country! As a first time voter I am proud to say YES WE CAN OBAMA 08'

OBAMA SUCKS said: Obama is a joke. HE promises change. That change is a president who will not get one thing done. THe change will be no laws or bills being passed. He will get us in huge trouble with terrorist and extremists. The man has the worst foreign policy ever. YOU CANT BE DIPLOMATIC WITH TERRORISTS.WERE THEY DIPLOMATIC BEFORE HITTING THE WORLD TRADE CENTERS. also his wife who is a healthcare expert goesfrom making 100K a year to 380K after obama runs for president. As a healthcare expert she should not be making that much money. That takes away from the ppl that need money for HEALTHCARE>>> JOHN MCCAIN 08' only logical pick

Warren Stewart said: Subject: An Open Letter To Barack and Michelle Obama Dear Barack and Michelle, I received your March 7 email of thanks for my work in the Texas Precinct Conventions. Though I appreciate it deeply, it is actually I who must thank you. Your candidacy has lifted us all. When I got home from the March 4 convention around midnight and flipped on CNN, I saw that Hillary Clinton had been declared the winner in Texas by 3 points. I wondered, don’t these networks understand that the Texas primary has two parts? The first half is a daytime vote. The second half is a nighttime caucus. So the so-called 3 point victory was really just a half time lead. Can you imagine a real competitor like Michael Jordan, Brett Farve, or Magic Johnson declaring victory with a 3 point half-time lead? No, they would buckle down for the second half battle, just like the Texas Obama campaign did. Winning time is in the fourth quarter! When I completed my duty as Precinct 2352 Convention Chair and turned in the final count, it was an Obama victory with 62% of the vote, Hillary Clinton with 38% of the vote. This same ritual occurred in over 8000 precincts across the state. When the Texas caucus vote count is finalized, it will likely show an Obama win. But I suspect Hillary will always claim Texas as another stunning big state win. It reminds me of a quote that appeared on the title page of our Stanford University graduate school text in Decision Analysis – “A lie told a thousand times is more believable than the truth told once”. Winning time is in the fourth quarter and that’s where we stand now. These are perilous times in many respects. It’s like completing a journey across a mountain range. You work hard to complete the first phase – the dangerous ascent from the base camp to the peak. But the second phase from the mountaintop to fertile valley on the other side is a whole new journey with its unique dangers and new possibilities. The terrain may be new, but the intestinal fortitude gained on the ascent has to be your guide. As you challenge yourself to make this climb, you remind us that we must climb as well. Barack and Michelle, you have the intestinal fortitude it will take to cross this mountain. And if I, as one humble voter, could offer you advice, this is what I’d say: 1. Your message of Hope and perseverance (“Yes We Can”) has inspired us all. The other day, I had a conversation with an 80 year-old woman who lives in a little Texas town founded by ex-slaves. She told me that the way you talk directly to the people reminds her of Franklin D. Roosevelt. Now I’m too young to remember FDR, but I know the legacy of what he accomplished. He succeeded in building a new coalition for change. He put America back to work when there was no work. He rebuilt our armed forces when the threat was grave. With the talents of the nation cruelly divided by race and gender, he inspired a generation to work toward the common goals of mutual survival, victory over economic despair, and the defeat of global tyranny. Three-quarters of a century later it’s time to do it again. And we believe that you are the man to lead. 2. Negative energy creates negative change. As you go down the stretch, stay as positive as you can. Lead with inspiration. I know that Senator Clinton is creating the 3AM dread, that unknown force that kills our babies while they sleep. Just what is this 3AM dread – a lone gunman, a well guided missile, a terrorist bomb? A real leader does not lead with abstract fear. He or she defines the threat, takes the appropriate action, and tells the people the truth. That’s what FDR did. Five years ago, few Americans knew the significance of the three letters W-M-D. But we came to look upon WMD as an abstract Iraqi threat that could kills us at any time. We were led by this fear to go to war. Let’s not go down this path again with an abstract 3AM fear that stalks our sleeping children. And finally Barack, if you have to answer that White House phone at 3AM, don’t let it ring 6 times like it does in Senator Clinton’s commercial. With that said, I thank you both for allowing me to be a small part of this campaign and you have my best wishes for continued success. Warren A. Stewart Arlington, Texas
